GovSight Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2.0 · Platform v1.4 · Effective Date: June 4, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") governs your use of the GovSight Services, including the PursuitWorks platform, the GovSight Directory, the Federal Contract Readiness Assessment, the Resource Library, the marketing site at govsight.co, and any other product or service made available by GovSight Co, LLC ("GovSight"). The AUP is incorporated by reference into the GovSight Website and Services Terms ("Terms") at /terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms. A violation of this AUP is a violation of the Terms.
1. Prohibited Conduct
You may not, and may not assist any third party to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or third-party right, including federal acquisition regulations, export-control laws (including ITAR and EAR), sanctions, privacy laws, or intellectual property laws;
- Upload, submit, or process classified information, controlled unclassified information (CUI) outside the categories the relevant GovSight product is authorized to receive, NOFORN material, ITAR or EAR controlled material, protected health information (PHI), payment card data, or any data subject to a confidentiality obligation that the Services are not contractually authorized to handle;
- Submit false, deceptive, or misleading information, including in a Directory listing, in an Assessment opt-in, in a Resource download form, in a PursuitWorks proposal artifact, in a SAM.gov-derived field, or in any representation to a government agency;
- Impersonate any person, entity, government official, or contracting activity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any of the foregoing;
- Interfere with the Services, including by introducing malware, probing for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization from GovSight, conducting load tests, scraping at a rate that exceeds documented limits, bypassing rate limits or authentication, or attempting to gain access to accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, prompts, models, methodology, or trade secrets of the PursuitWorks pipeline or any other GovSight system, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this notwithstanding a contractual prohibition;
- Use the Services to develop, train, fine-tune, or improve any competing product, model, dataset, or service, or to benchmark the Services for the purpose of building a competing product;
- Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, time-share, or commercially redistribute the Services, Directory listings, or Resource Library downloads without GovSight's prior written consent;
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, attribution, or legal notice contained in or displayed by the Services or any Resource Library download;
- Send unsolicited commercial communications using contact information surfaced by the Directory or any other Service, or violate the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA, or analogous laws.
2. Directory-Specific Rules
The GovSight Directory carries listings of third-party providers. In addition to the rules above:
- For listed providers: you may only claim a listing for an entity you are authorized to represent. Listing content must be truthful and current. Certifications, badges, clearance status, NAICS codes, and similar claims must be supportable by current documentation, and you must promptly correct or remove content that becomes inaccurate. You may not impersonate another provider or claim listings you do not control.
- For inquirers: the Directory introduces you to third-party providers. GovSight is not a party to your engagement with any provider, does not verify provider claims, and is not responsible for the services provided. You must independently verify credentials and contract directly with the provider.
- No lead harvesting: you may not aggregate, scrape, or resell Directory contact data, listing data, or lead-form submissions, whether automated or manual.
3. Free Tools, Reasonable Use
The Readiness Assessment, the Directory, and the Resource Library are offered to the public at no charge. GovSight may impose rate limits, require email confirmation (double opt-in), cap downloads, throttle excessive requests, or block automated traffic, in each case at our sole discretion. Resource Library downloads are licensed to you for your internal informational use only and may not be redistributed.
4. PursuitWorks, Additional Rules
In addition to the prohibitions above, when you use the PursuitWorks platform:
- You may not submit any AI-generated output to a government agency, contracting officer, prime contractor, or other third party without thorough human review and independent professional verification;
- You may not rely on the platform to verify size standards, socioeconomic certifications, organizational conflicts of interest, or any other representation made to the government;
- You may not use the platform to bid on, prepare a response to, or otherwise participate in any procurement for which you are ineligible, debarred, suspended, or excluded;
- You remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal acquisition regulations, FAR/DFARS clauses, and the truth of every representation you submit.
5. Reporting and Takedown
To report a suspected AUP violation, including an inaccurate Directory listing, a copyright complaint, a security vulnerability, or a phishing or impersonation report, email support@govsight.co with sufficient detail for GovSight to investigate. GovSight reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to investigate any suspected violation and to remove, edit, suspend, or refuse any content or account at its discretion.
For copyright infringement complaints under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, send a notice meeting 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to the same address. GovSight will process notices and counter-notices in accordance with the DMCA.
6. Consequences of Violation
GovSight may, at its sole discretion and without notice or liability, suspend or terminate access to any Service, remove content, revoke Directory claims, block IP addresses, refuse future signups, retain records of the violation, pursue indemnification under the Terms, cooperate with law enforcement, and pursue any other legal or equitable remedy. Continued violation following notice may result in permanent termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
7. Updates
GovSight may update this AUP at any time. Material updates will be announced through the Services or by email where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.
